The Malibu 1-1/8″ Water Cooled Shaft Seal is a genuine OEM dripless shaft sealing system used on Malibu and Axis inboard boats equipped with a 1-1/8″ propeller shaft. It is designed to seal the prop shaft where it exits the hull while using raw water lubrication/cooling to reduce heat and friction at the seal faces.

This system replaces traditional stuffing boxes and provides a more modern, low-maintenance solution that helps keep the bilge dry while allowing smooth shaft rotation under load.
