WE HAVE A WORLD CHAMPION!
Symonne Kennedy has taken the top spot, as we all new she would! All the hard work, blood sweat, tears, freezing cold mornings paid off as Sym claimed the top spot. We are all still buzzing and we cant wait to celebrate!
Nic Rapa also took out the World Title in the open men division, again showing how important it is to train in all conditions! There were plenty more podiums for the Wakeboard Australia Team with @coryteunissen and Sam Brown in 2nd and 3rd for the Open Men division.
Bec Gange took out 3rd spot for the Open Womens.
Josh Sanders Came in 2nd for O40 Mens.
Mackenzie McCarthy took 2nd for Jnr Women.
Amber Wing taking 2nd for O30 Women.
And finally Dean Smith, the last rider in the contest to wrap it all up in some of the toughest conditions of the event, bringing home a hard fought 2nd place!
Our little legends Stella and Charlotte were knocked out through the heats, but they rode amazing and would have learnt a great deal in their first international contests! we are so proud of them!
A huge congratulations to the entire Wakeboard Australia team, we had a lot of fun following along all week. Seeing this event gets us excited to see the @wakeboard_wa kick off for another exciting year!
